Program goals are to give each Scout an opportunity to start working on activity badges, to learn more about the world we live in, and to develop a greater appreciation for the outdoors. Webelos Resident Camp provides a natural bridge from Cub Scouting to the many activities in Boy Scouting. The boys and adults sleep on canvas cots in wall tents on platforms. Summer camp is probably the greatest experience that your Webelos Scout will have in the normal Scout year. The camp program and schedule are the responsibility of the Program Director and Staff. The primary responsibility of every staff member is to see that each Scout stays safe, while having fun at camp. The staff is well trained and eager to help the program succeed.
As far as the boys are concerned, the biggest goal of Scouting is to have FUN,
and through that, they will meet the other goals.
