Want to spend more than one week at camp? Need to finish up partials from other camps?

Just looking for a fun time without advancement in mind?

Can't go to camp with your troop? Looking to meet new Scouts?

Well linking up with our Camp Troop is the perfect answer!

Provo Bob Attending summer camp with your troop is a great experience for all Boy Scouts. If you cannot go to camp with your troop or you would just like more weeks at camp, we invite you to spend a week or more with our Camp Troop. It does not matter where your troop is camping.  If you are already camping at Winnebago, come for another week.  If not, come check us out!

What is the Provisional Camp Troop at Winnebago?

The Provisional Camp Troop is a resident summer camp experience for all Scouts - you just don't need to come with your troop. Have a fun time with zip lines, sailing, shooting, archery, climbing, batting cage, swimming, paintball action adventure, skateboard half-pipe, mountain biking and other camp activities. Get a chance to meet new Scouts. The Provisional Camp Troop stays in the beautiful Witauchsudin campsite. The camp provides adult leaders over the age of 21 with many years of troop experience. You can come for one or more weeks as an individual or bring some of your Scout friends.

Advancement Opportunities

First year Scouts usually participate in our Dan Beard program where they can work on Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class requirements and three merit badges. Older Scouts can work on rank requirements, merit badges, or finish up merit badge partials.

Camp Schedule and Fees

The Camp Troop is available at Winnebago during all four weeks of camp. See the Camp Schedule for specific dates.  Save money if you register by April 30th. Multi week and sibling discounts are also available.  See the fee schedule for details.
