WEBELOS SLEEP OVER

If you are a WEBELOS (entering the 4^th and 5th grade in the summer of 2008) you are able to participate in the WEBELOS sleep over program. Instead of going home on Wednesday night the WEBELOS walk over to Camp Somers and get a taste of the Boy Scout experience doing such things as:

• Climbing the Camp Somers Iceberg
• Learn BB Skills
• Cooking a pizza over an open fire

We supply the tent, food, and supervision all your WEBELOS has to do is bring a sleeping bag and a change of clothes with them on WEDNESDAY morning. (Be sure to have their names on it) Scouts need a CLASS TWO medical form in order to participate and parents are strongly encouraged to come up and spend the night as well!! The cost of the sleep over is $20 for scouts which includes a t-shirt, patch, dinner, pizza making materials, breakfast in morning, and lunch Thursday afternoon. If parents wish to come up and spend then night the cost is $5 for the cost of food.

This program is rain or shine and if there are severe thunderstorms scouts will be moved indoors to spend the night for their own safety.

WEBELOS OVERNIGHT CHECK LIST

1. Sleeping Bag

2. Clothes to sleep in and a change of clothes for the next day.

3. Toothbrush and toothpaste

4. Flashlight

5.Towel

6. Bathing Suit

7. Water bottle

8. Class One Medical Form
