What's new for 2012
Lots of new and exiting things are happening this summer at Watchung Day Camp. Here are some of the highlights
New Camp Director
Please welcome Terry Paicer as our new camp director. Terry has more than 27 years of professional Scouting experience. He is a Eagle Scout who has several years of experience as a camp/program director at Cub Scout day camps. He is the former director at Camp Wheeler and has served as the District Executive of several districts in Patriots' Path Council.
Survivor Watchung
This year's Survivor theme will provide new and exciting opportunities for the boys. Each week will feature a different Survivor location such as the Australian Outback, Samoa, Africa and the Amazon. Sports, games, crafts and challenges will vary each week to coordinate with each Survivor location.
Pre Camp Orientation
Our new orientation program is highly recommended for new and returning campers. It will be held on June 26, 2012 and June 27, 2012. Campers and their parents are welcome either evening to meet the staff and hand in forms. Drop in between 5:30 and 7:00 pm.
Enhanced Bus Service
The M bus to the Raritan Valley district will now run every week. We have also added an express bus to Hillsborough and Somerville. Plus, we will have a new bus to Essex county. See the bus schedule for details.
