Medication Dispensing Policy
- Each Cub Scout must have a BSA Annual Health and Medical Record on file at camp to participate.
- The medications section on Part A of the Annual Health and Medical Record must be completed by the parent and health care provider and reviewed by the Camp Health Officer.
- The camp health officer will dispense the medication. Each Cub Scout will be observed to ensure his medication is being taken.
- If a Cub Scout refuses to take medication, the Camp Director or Health Officer will notify the parents immediately.
Driving to Camp
If you are driving your son to or from camp, the drop off and pickup point is the Watchung Stable. Please see the directions to camp for details For the safety of the Cub Scouts, and by order of the Union County Police Department, only buses will be allowed into camp area.
Absence
The camp runs from 8:45am until 4:00pm. If your son will be absent on any day at camp, it is important that you notify us. Please leave a message at 973-765-9322 x 222. Messages are picked up every morning. You may also call the camp after 8:00am at 908-654-4510.
Rainy Days
Camp runs rain or shine, but we may adjust activities due to weather. Everyone is encouraged to bring rain gear to camp.
Lost and Found Policy
Patriots' Path camps will hold items in camp when it is in session, with the exception of food/perishables, which will be destroyed immediately. Articles may be retrieved by claiming the item in person at the applicable camp during the camping season. After camp is over, the items will be disposed of in an appropriate manner. Patriots' Path Council is not responsible for anything left or forgotten at camp.
